HISTORY

After attending an Essex Fa course on Futsal it quickly became apparent for me & Trevor that this was the way forward .

Fun for kids , always dry, small sided, ball mainly played on the floor lots of touches quick decisions by players have to made due to the size of the playing area. As coaches of an U/9 team we needed mid week training so we booked a hall bought some balls and invited our team once a week to train, we started with seven available players to train on a Monday night. School friends decided to join the sessions , then friends of school friends & at present we can have from 15 to 22 8/9/10 year olds on a Monday night .Kids love it & the money made above the outlay funds the team for training aids, pays for referees in friendly matches replaces lost footballs (major expense! ) and has recently made up a short fall in track tops & a new players match kit .We have two available teams for friendly matches & tournaments & have just purchased a match /training kit we play in red & black .

We will now be starting a new night on a Friday for 8-10 year olds to run along side our Monday night at Roding Valley High school which is full EMAIL
